Fusion music project from Guadalajara, Mexico. With over ten years of experience, Radaid has been distinguished for combining music and instruments from different areas around the world such as India, China, Middle East, Mexico, Africa and the Balkans, with contemporary sounds and genres like rock, trip hop, post rock, progressive and electronic music. They seek to break the barrier of space-time and rediscover the similarity between the cultures that inhabit the world, using music as a unifying language. Radaid in Egyptian Arabic means "son or protected from the sun."


The group has four studio albums, Radaid, Hidden Light, L’intent and The Willing Part 1. With L’intent, Radaid was nominated for the Lunas del Auditorio Award as Best Group of World Music. They were also nominated for the Indie-O Music Awards in the category of Best Album Jazz, Funk, Fusion. Moreover, L’intent was rated "five stars" by the Rolling Stone magazine, considering this album as a classic.


In the Dutch program Talent Cast –a project that promotes the best of the world’s independent scene, Radaid’s single "Shine" was chosen by voters all around the world, as Best Song and Best Video of the Week.


Radaid has participated in important international festivals in Mexico, USA, Spain, France, Portugal and Germany.
